Statement - Day on Ring Mountain
This series was created while walking the trails of Ring Mountain in Northern California. Rather than dramatic and sweeping vistas, the slow, unfolding rhythm of walking turns attention to the immediate foreground, the grasses, stones, wildflowers and shifting textures that are encountered step by step. Each frame marks a moment of pause, a brief act of noticing before continuing onward.
